You may remember Bo Peep was part of a lamp that helped Andy's sister Molly get to sleep, she wasn't actually one of Andy's toys. It shows Bo Peep still in Andy's house in his sister's room. The prologue we were shown takes place nine years before the events off Toy Story 4. "We see the reintroduction of Bo Peep," Rivera said reminding us she was first a porcelain doll on the base of a lamp. He was keen to spill the beans on Bo Peep's return and what it means for Woody and the gang. Rivera worked on the first Toy Story and has worked his way up the ranks working on the major Disney/Pixar films. We briefly saw her in Toy Story 2, but then she was missing from Toy Story 3, despite fans firmly believing she's the only toy for Woody.ĭisney screened footage at CinemaCon showing what happened to the shepherdess, but Mirror Online had a chance to find out more about what happened to her last month at a special screening event with producer Jonas Rivera where half hour of footage was screened. While she's known for her kindness and sensible nature, it turns out Bo Peep also has a tough side to her, and she can put up with way more than Woody or any of the other toys would have ever imagined. Woody and Bo Peep part ways, but it's certainly not the last they see of each other. Just as Woody is about to accept, Andy comes rushing out of the house in a panic because he's unable to find his favorite cowboy doll. Woody, ever the hero, attempts to help Bo Peep escape, but she insists it's time to move on to a new kid and even invites Woody to come with her. So, what exactly has she been up to since then?ĭuring a flashback nine years into the past at the beginning of Toy Story 4, Andy's mom sells Bo Peep, her sheep, and her lamp to an unnamed man who wants to put them in his daughter's bedroom. Ever since Toy Story 3, she's swapped her classic pink-and-white polka-dot dress for a far more practical jumpsuit and created a toy crew of her very own.įollowing the events of Toy Story 2, Bo Peep is only mentioned briefly in Toy Story 3 when Woody points out that several of the gang's original members have been lost to past yard sales and Spring cleanings. Toy Story 4 answers all of our burning questions about the doll - it turns out Bo has been living quite the rogue lifestyle.
